After the release of her EP Roots meditation last February, Asha D and her Artikal Band performed the remarkable first parts of YanisS Odua, on the Stay High Tour which has just ended.
Asha D wastes no time and continues on her creative path, on drums and vocals, the artist reveals herself and surprises us in a register in which we did not expect her, with lyrics tinged with lovers rock and a riddim typically reggae one drop played by Artikal band.
The choirs are provided by Marie-Annick Nsilulu and the video produced by Boris Axel.
This is a new step for Asha D and Artikal Band. Usually, it is in backing band mode that they go on stage for many artists from the French and Jamaican scene and in particular Yaniss Odua since 2010.
He is accompanied by Artikal Band, Backing band reggae, formed in 1995 in Montpellier in France. From 2010 until today the group has forged its experience through unexpected artistic encounters over the years.

In 2021, Asha D produces two Eps, one with Mark Cupidore from Trinidad and one with Bobby Hustle from California, as well as a Single with the greats U Brown and Rod Taylor from Jamaica.
His Solo EP “The Pressure” was released in June 2022, the deluxe album version Dub Showcase is also available, he entirely self-produced this project. Note the guest singers, Taïro and Queen Omega.
In 2023 EP with Artikal Band "Roots Meditation" released on February 24, 2023. Note the guest musicians and singers Dean Fraser, YaniSs Odua and Maylan Manaza.
